Hi fellow home owners and apartment dwellers, I’m Chris and let me thank you for visiting this site, Camerasecurityreviews.com.  Here it’s my goal to help educate and make you a smarter consumer when it comes to home security electronics.

Here’s a short summary about myself…

I first started tinkering with electronics when I was a young kid of the age of 8. My father was an engineer for Magnavox and opened my eyes to modern electronics (circa 1985!) after he built several items in the garage that were usable and fun.  He built and assembled everything from RC vehicles to a home security system after our home was broken into while we were away on vacation.

With the interest-seed of electronics planted, I began exploring toys and hobby kits that were mechanical and electronic in nature and I was curious about how they worked. Throughout high school I would take courses related to electronics to advance my interests. I eventually went to college and acquired an Associates Degree in Electronic Engineering and a Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing Technology.

I have been an electronics technician for the past 14 years now., mainly working on audio and video equipment, along with some appliances and arcade games and musical gear on the side.  The tinkering has never stopped and I try to help anyone who has broken equipment, or a TV, or whatever that needs repaired.   You name it and I’ve probably worked on one at some point. I love using my skills and knowledge to help eliminate the financial pain of having to purchase new items when their old stuff is easily fixable.

So,  I’ve set up this website to help educate and begin writing about something I am passionate about. My goal is to pass on some tips and advice that I have picked up over the years and offer it to you in the form of a helpful, informative and entertaining home security website and help you and your family become even more secure and safe in your daily life.
